Finger mausefalle

I have pain in my fingers and not as much strength as I used to have in some of my fingers. What could be the reason for that?

The pain relieving expert is asked: You, Matti, I have pain in my fingers and not as much strength as I used to have in some of my fingers. What could be the reason for that?

“What does your doctor say?”

My doctor says it’s arthrosis in the fingers. And that my age can be a cause.

“Well, well. That’s difficult when you need your fingers to make your private and professional life successful, isn’t it? Isn’t it funny that the average person can live to be 75-80 years old and their fingers wear out after only 40-50 years? What if you could fix it yourself? Would you do that?”

Is that possible? Everyone says that osteoarthritis is a fate that I have to accept.

“Well I’m not saying that. 🙂 The cause of finger arthrosis is usually too much tension in the muscles and fascial tissues of your body. In this case in the hand and in the fingers. Lack of movement is another factor. If these tensions were reduced, the complaints would be greatly reduced or disappear. So again to my question: Would you repair yourself if you could?”

Yes… But what do I have to do for it?

“If you perform certain movements only to a limited extent or too little, you no longer stretch both the muscles and the fasciae around the fingers sufficiently and evenly – they “shorten” as a result and get into a kind of undersupply. In very simplified terms, this means that you have to dissolve the shortenings again. That is too simple.”

If it were that simple, it would already be known and everyone would do it that way!

“How long have you had your complaints? Months, years? And what have you done so far to resolve it? And how successful has it been so far?”

It has tended to stay the same and tend to get worse!

“Imagine you were born without the ability to see. I ask you to describe the colour “Green” to me. What would you describe to me?”

Nothing, because I don’t know what “Green” looks like.

“Exactly. You can’t link this new information because there is no memory in the brain for it. And now ask yourself the question: Can I replace the question about the colour “Green” with the general possibility that there is something I have not yet experienced? Like, for example, the possibility of doing something that I have not yet done. Which leads to results that I haven’t had before.”

Very likely that is possible, yes.

“Well in that case I invite you to experience it for yourself. Arrange a personal conversation with me. Then you will be wiser. And in the worst case, everything will remain as you are used to it, won’t it?”
